Born on Grandma Susie's birthday:
We were all so thrilled! The kids adored her for the very start.
They immediately took to their Big sister and Big Brother roles, checking on her constantly. Rodney had to bribe them to even leave the hospital to go home at night.
Just a few weeks old with no idea what's in store for her!
Even with all the chaos, she grew up so fast. -Crawling at 5 months old
-Clapping at 6 months old
-Loves to play peek a boo
-Waving at 8 months old
-Walking at 11 months old
-Talking, she says Hi, Bye, Baby, Mama, Dada, keys, ba ba (bottle), dah-bee (we aren't sure what it means but it gets said all the time).
-Shakes her head yes and no
-Animal Sounds, woof woof and quack quack
-Carly taught her to "jump" but her feet don't leave the ground
-Blake taught her to give fives
-Loves to do FaceTime on my Iphone
-She loves to ride in the stroller and school pick up is her favorite because all the kids give her so much attention.
We had a little party for her at home on her birthday complete with presents. Carly and Blake both had gifts for her.
Here she is with Carly's gift.
All of these things came out of that one bag. Carly was really proud!
Next was Blake's present. She tore off each piece of wrapping paper and handed it to Blake or Carly.
The kids were so patient letting her do it slowly. The end result was this fun hammer and ball toy. She would later use the hammer on the TV screen which made her Daddy really happy....good thing it is soft hammer.
Carly also wrapped up a few of her Littlest Pet Shop toys for Avery. It was a hit, we had to hide them to get Avery to unwrap her other things.
She loves babies and really needed one her size so she would stop dragging all of Carly's big dolls around. After unwrapping this baby doll she hardly put it down.
More Birthday to come! We are doing some more celebrating on Sunday with a special family outing.
