We were all so excited to be heading to Indiana to spend Christmas. Rodney was able to take the whole week off so we were looking forward to the break. All week I had been checking the weather and praying for smooth travel. We flew into Chicago and met Sarah and then Dad picked us all up at once. Well the prayers worked and we got there without a single issue. Sarah met us in baggage claim (sorry I failed to take a picture) then promptly took the two big kids to pick out a treat.
Here we are waiting for our plane to board. We had the 8 am flight so the car service picked us up at 5:30 am. The kids did great though!
Blake already working on his crossword puzzles and word finds. When we arrived at Grandma Nancy and Grandpa John's house, Avery was completely wired. She had taken a couple of naps already so all was right in her world.
Trying to tear open presents...
I am sure she is trying to get Grandpa to help her out.
Peyton came to visit...he wasn't quite sure what to think about the fact that Avery could now crawl...last time he saw her she just laid there.
She is a bit distraught in this picture because Peyton is holding her Sophie giraffe which she loves.
More posts to come!
