Cozy and Louisa visit

We spent five years in Memphis and made some really wonderful friends who were like our local family.  One of those families were the Colemans.  Cozy and I became very close friends and our kids did as well.  We have many great memories of playdates and slumber parties.  Louisa and Carly were missing each other and wanting a sleepover so it worked out for Cozy to come visit for a few days.  We had the best time and since we talk so much on the phone we picked right up where we left off even though it had been a year since we've seen each other.

The kids all got to be ushers at church on Sunday.

Sunday night we went out for a movie, which happened to be Louisa's first ever in a theater.  We saw Madagascar 3 which wasn't as good as the other two but still had our kids laughing out loud and singing the circus song for days.

After the movies we hit up the Shake Shack.  Cozy kept the kids entertained with her endless amount of riddles.  Blake and Carly were quite impressed.

My kids had a half day of school on Monday so we picked them up and had lunch in the park by the boat pond.

Rodney met us at the park after work.  We went on a long walk to find an all hair bow store.  It was worth it!
On Tuesday afternoon Cozy and I took the girls to the American Girl store to celebrate and early birthday for Louisa.  We had lunch and then did a little shopping.

They immediately had to dress their babies before we left.  Carly of course picked out a cowgirl outfit and hat.  For those who don't know, she is set on taking Horseback Riding Lessons in Z-ville.
Avery loved having them here and crawled into the suitcase while Cozy was packing.  She either wanted to go too or was trying to get them to stay.

Thanks again for coming!  We loved seeing you in person again and can't wait to see your whole family in October!
